The arrangement has an electromagnetic actuator (1) with an opening magnet (4) and a closing magnet (3) with an armature (2) movable between their pole faces coaxially with respect to the valve. A biased spring mechanism acts on the valve. There is a hydraulic play compensation element (9) with a piston guided in a cylinder (22). One part (13) acts on the piston and one (17) on the cylinder. With the actuator inactive the armature position with respect to the pole surfaces is determined by the block size (5) of the play compensation element and between the two parts.
