The invention relates to an auxiliary handling device for a racket, especially a tennis racket, whereby said racket consists of a shaft (3) that joins the stringing (1) to a handle (2). The inventive device includes a cap (16) whose concavity is directed towards the shaft. Said cap can be displaced along the shaft between a high position whereby it is located above the handle (2) and a low position whereby it partially covers the handle (2).
