A rim lock of a glasses frame capable of securely fixing a lens within a rim without loosening even when the outward form of the lens is not finished to a satisfactory precision and permitting an easy attaching and detaching of the lens, wherein a lock member (10) provided at the lower end (3c) of a rim (3) is loosely fitted into a loosely fitting groove (9f) in a lock member (9) fixed to the upper end (3b) of the rim (3) and is urged toward the upper end (3b) of the rim (3) by a resilient member (11) disposed between the bottom wall plate (9d) of the lock member (9) and the lock member (10), the urging positively fixing the lens (2) fitted within the rim (3). Since the inward form of the rim (3) is expanded when a gap (3a) in the rim (3) is stretched and contracts via the resilient member (11) when the gap (3a) is released, the lens (2) can be replaced even when a dedicated screw driver is not used, thereby providing the rim lock of the glasses frame capable of securely fixing the lens within the rim and permitting an easy attaching and detaching of the lens.
