The arrangement has two light polarising devices mounted on or in the headlamp that rotates dipped light electrically, electronically or electromechanically through 45 degrees and main beam light through 135 degrees. A polarising device in the vehicle, pref. in the sunshade, can be switched in the 345 to 2135 degree range, enabling driver selection of dipped or main beam modes. The vehicle has a non-polarising front screen.
