<p>High-quality N-protected S-phenylcysteine compounds represented by general formula (1) are easily, simply and efficiently isolated in high yield by salting out the compounds as salts thereof with bases in the presence of water. In said formula R1 is an amino-protecting group; and R2 is hydrogen or represents an amino-protecting group either independent of R1 or together therewith.</p> |
