PURPOSE: A device for alarming belt tension of a generator for a vehicle is provided to show the position of a pressure-supporting plate to an indicator and to notice belt tension and to prevent a belt from being damaged. CONSTITUTION: A device for alarming belt tension of a generator for a vehicle is composed of a rectangular parallelepiped shaped-housing having a long hole(12) to be able to insert the shaft of a generator(100), and a pressure-supporting plate installed to be adhere closely with elastic supporting. While the pressure-supporting plate is sliding in the longitudinal direction with elastic supporting, connects to terminals(13) installed in the housing at regular intervals and indicates the position to an indicator(20). The terminals are connected in parallel and can transmit through the pressure-supporting plate when a starting switch is on.
