In a reaping machine a crop-divider 1 at the end of the cutter bar is provided with a guidemember 2 of S-shape for the corn-stalks which extends forwardly and horizontally from the divider tip on the same side as the cutter bar and then rises to join the rear of the divider on the side adjacent to the uncut crop. The guide member is preferably a rod 3, 4, 5 but could be of strip-form. |
