PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily mount a balloon to an ultrasonic probe and smoothly supply an ultrasonic wave transmission medium by mounting a balloon device having a balloon part at the tip, including an ultrasonic scanning part of the ultrasonic probe and covering a part up to a connector. SOLUTION: A thick-walled rubber part 41, a balloon part 42 and a flexible tube 43 are connected in this order from the tip part of a balloon device. A holding cylinder 44 is connected to the base end of the flexible tube 43, and its ultrasonic scanning part 11 is positioned inside the balloon part 42 of the balloon device. An annular ultrasonic wave transmission medium passage is formed between a flexible cord 12 and the flexible tube 43. The holding cylinder 44 is fitted to a connector 13, and an engaging part 47 provided at a collet part piece 46 is engaged with an outer cylinder body 22 of the connector 13. The holding cylinder 44 is therefore fixedly connected, and a seal part 50 provided at a holding cylinder body 45 of the holding cylinder 44 is pressure-bonded to a break check cover 33 on the ultrasonic probe side to seal between them.
