PURPOSE: A low temperature baking type epoxy polyester class dull powder paint composition is provided which is hardened to show gloss in a coat and excellent appearance under low temperature baking condition(140-150°C) and also shows the same appearance, leveling and mechanical properties as ready-made dull powder under high temperature baking(over 180°C). CONSTITUTION: A polyester class dull powder paint composition contains the following components of: 10-30 wt% of polyester resin which has 20-50 mgKOH/g in acidic figures and 6,000-12,000 in weight average molecular weight; 5-20 wt% of acryl copolymerization resin which has 100-250 mgKOH/g in acidic figures and 3,000-6,000 in weight average molecular weight; 30-55 wt% of epoxy hardening agent whose equivalence is 600-1,400 and fusion viscosity is 5-20 poise; and 0.2-5 wt% of hardening promotion agent which includes imidazols and epoxy hardeners which are made by modifying imidazols. |
