PURPOSE: A device to control time to sense unbalance of a washing machine and a controlling method are provided which can improve user's satisfaction about the efficiency of the product by changing the sensing condition of unbalance according to the special quality of the fully-automated washing machine or the sensitivity of the open switch and reducing the frequency of sensing wrongly. CONSTITUTION: A device to control time to sense unbalance of a washing machine is characterized as follows: a key part(11) having a special key is comprised to set a mode to control the time to sense unbalance; a EEPROM(16) to store the condition is comprised to sense unbalance after setting a mode to control the time to sense unbalance; and a micom(12) is changed to the mode to control the time to sense unbalance by inputting a special key and stores the first condition time and the second condition time becoming the condition to sense the unbalance by changing in the EEPROM. |
