PURPOSE: A method for amending a white line of an ink jet printer is provided to automatically amending a feeding amount of a paper for preventing white line phenomenon generated in a bottom margin part of a paper by feeding the paper after deducting and preventing change of a vertical position of the paper, thereby obtaining a high quality image. CONSTITUTION: A method for amending a white line of an ink jet printer includes the steps of measuring a length of a printing standby paper(S10), supplying the paper for initiating printing of the paper(S11), measuring a length of a non-printed part of the paper after printing per line(S12), determining whether a rear end part of the paper is deviated from a paper conveying part or not if a feeding of paper is performed by an initially set feeding amount(S13), performing a feeding by deducting a white line width from an initially set feeding amount if determined being deviated(S15), performing by feeding the paper by the initially set feeding amount by a discharge device part if the rear part of the paper deviated from the paper conveying part(S16), and returning to the steps for initiating the printing and measuring a length of a non-printed part of a paper if determined not being deviate(S14).
