PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily clean a carpet cleaner using cleaning fluid. SOLUTION: This cleaner is provided with a base housing 10 and a recovery tank/nozzle assembly 18 freely attachably and detachably attached to the base housing 10. The assembly 18 is provided with a recovery tank 120 for storing stained cleaning fluid and a nozzle cover 134 for forming a nozzle flow passage 138 between the outer surface of the recovery tank 120. Then, the stained cleaning fluid is led through the nozzle flow passage 138 to the recovery tank 120. Then, the recovery tank 120 and the nozzle cover 134 are detached from the base housing 10 at the time of discharging the fluid from the recovery tank 120.
