PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a console box having a wide upper surface, with a rigidity, and of a low cost, by dividing the console box into the upper part and the lower part, and making the member at the lower part in an integral structure, and in a structure to allow to assemble even by a material of PP system. SOLUTION: This housing box 10 for vehicle is composed by joining an upper part member 11 and a lower part member 12 formed of a resin respectively, and the upper part member 11 is formed by making the lower part wider than the upper part, while the lower part member 12 the wider as going to the upper side making the lower part narrower, a seat surface 19 for fixing to be the joint part with the upper part member 11 is provided, and further, the lower part member 12 is divided into the left side and the right side, and the divided left side and right side walls are connected to a bridging part 17 through integral hinges respectively.
