PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a foam having a beautiful appearance without waviness by melting a polypropylene resin in an extruder, press injecting a foaming agent in the resin, kneading and melting the mixture, and then extruding the mixture by using a die having a straightening plate in a channel. SOLUTION: A polypropylene resin is melted in an extruder, a foaming agent is press injected in the resin, kneaded and melted. Thereafter, the resin is extruded by using a die having a straightening plate 2 in a channel. Here, the plate 2 is a plate provided in parallel with the channel to divide the channel in a width direction. When the resin advanced in the channel enters divided sections, the plate 2 is constituted to all delimit to match a shape in the die so as not to pass through the plate 2 and not to enter delimited adjacent channel in the area existing with the plate 2. Thus, the foam having a beautiful appearance can be manufactured, and foam can have a board shape, and further the foam can be molded without lowering physical property values even when molded. |
