PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid dynamic pressure bearing spindle motor of small size, having excellent vibration absorbing capability, and emitting less vibrations. SOLUTION: Between a rotary member 3 and stationary member 2, a gap 10 is formed for generating fluid dynamic pressure, and a fluid dynamic pressure generating groove is provided at one side of the gap while a wall confronting the groove is formed on the other side so that a fluid dynamic pressure generation part is configured, and the rotary member 3 is equipped with a magnet 4 to constitute a rotor magnet part, while the stationary member 2 is furnished with a core winding 9 to constitute a stator coil part, and thereby a fluid dynamic pressure bearing spindle motor 1 is accomplished in which a fluid dynamic pressure bearing is incorporated in the function of a motor.
