PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller for automatic transmission for vehicle capable of controlling an engaging side oil pressure learning control means stably even if an engaging side oil pressure rising control means is provided. SOLUTION: When it is judged that overshoot F occurs by an overshoot judging means 146, engaging pressure PB1 of a brake B1 rises immediately to suppress the overshoot F by an engaging side oil pressure rising control means 150, and at the same time, learning control by means of an engaging side oil pressure learning control means 154 is inhibitted by an inhibition means 146. Therefore, even if the engaging side oil pressure rising control means 150 is provided, learning of engaging pressure PB1 of the brake B1 which is done based on the reduction of input shaft rotation speed NIN by means of the engaging side oil pressure rising control means 150 is prevented, and learning control for suppressing tie-up by the engaging side oil pressure learning control means 154 is stably done without causing diffusion. |
