PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately manufacture the rubber member of a tire by winding a rubber strip. SOLUTION: The rubber member 1 for a tire, in which a rubber strip 2 is piled up, is produced by peripherally and spirally lap-winding the rubber strip 2. The finished crosssectional surface S of the rubber member 1 for the tire is virtually divided in a plurality of winding-round regions Al and A2 including near triangular winding-round regions, as one side of each triangle of which at least some part of either one of oblique sides P2 and P3 forming the end parts of the finished crosssectional surface S. Around the respective winding- round regions A1 and A2, the rubber strip 2 is simultaneously or in succession wound so as to produce the finished crosssectional surface S. In this case, the oblique sides P2 and P3 are produced by stepwise lap-winding the edges 2e of the rubber strip 2. |
