PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a building component whereby a partition wall, a ceiling bed member or the like for use as interior material can be constructed easily with high accuracy in greatly reduced construction time, and a method for constructing the same. SOLUTION: This building component A is formed by butting one member 1 and the other member 2 at right angles to each other. In this case, one groove 3 is cut in a longitudinal side of the one member 1 and the other groove 4 is cut in a longitudinal side or a longitudinal end of the other member 2, with engaging elements 5 extended between and fitted into both the one groove 3 and the other groove 4. |
