PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To apply treatment of cautery or the like with excellent operability through weight reduction. SOLUTION: A sheath 37 of a cauterizing device body 32 constituting a cauterizing device 3 for applying cautery treatment is thrusted into the abdominal cavity 5. The cauterizing device body 32 is connected to a battery 34 integrally provided on a patient electrode 36 detachably attached to an abdominal wall surface 35 of the patient 4 through an attaching member 34. The cauterizing device body 32 operated being gripped by an operator is therefore reduced in weight to ensure operability.
