PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a lotion for skin having safety to the skin and exhibiting excellent skin-beautifying effect by including an extract of Trichopus zeylanicus. SOLUTION: The objective skin lotion can be produced by including an extract of Trichopus zeylanicus. The extraction is preferably carried out with water and/or a water-soluble solvent (e.g. ethanol or 1,3-butylene glycol) under heating or at normal temperature. The extract may be used in the form of the extracted solution as it is or after various treatments such as concentration, dilution or filtration as necessary. The skin lotion may be incorporated with oils and fats, waxes, hydrocarbons, fatty acids, etc. The skin lotion can be used as pharmaceuticals, quasi-drugs or cosmetics in the form of face lotion, ointment, cleaning agent, etc. The formulation amount of the extract is preferably 0.0005-10 wt.% based on the total amount of the preparation in terms of dried material. |
