PURPOSE: An ultra high voltage cable connection device is provided to simplify assembly and to reduce the area between the dielectric materials in order to improve insulation. CONSTITUTION: An ultra high voltage cable connection device includes a conductive sleeve(3), a high voltage electrode(2), an epoxy member(14), a semiconductive rubber(15), and an oil cushion(16). The conductive sleeve(3) connects the conductor exposed at both ends of the ultra high voltage cable(12A,12B). The high voltage electrode(2) is fixed on the conductive sleeve. The epoxy member(14) is fixed between the high voltage electrode(2) and a central bronze pipe(5). The semiconductive rubber(15) is fixed on the epoxy member. The oil cushion(16) compensates the pressure between the ultra high voltage cable(12A,12B) and the epoxy member(14). |
