PURPOSE: A television receiving apparatus with FM radio capability is provided to share one tuner and detector as a FM radio receiver and a television signal receiver. CONSTITUTION: A television receiving apparatus with FM radio capability includes a tuner, a controller, an oscillator, and a switch. The tuner tunes for all bands of each of the TV signal band and the FM signal band. The controller controls the tuning of the tuner through all bands of both signals. The oscillator generates a predetermined signal for FM radio detection. The switch controls the controller so as to operate with using one of the outputs of the oscillator selectively. |
