PURPOSE: A semiconductor light emitting apparatus is provided which has a number of semiconductor light emitting devices using different emission wavelength which can reduce the number of components of an optical disc system, and can simplify the construction of an optical system. CONSTITUTION: A semiconductor light emitting apparatus having a plurality of semiconductor light emitting devices of different emitting wavelength comprises at least two stacks comprising an epitaxial grown layer constructed with a substrate(30), an N-type clad layer(32,37), an active layer(33,38) and a P-type clad layer(34,39). The stacks are separated each other, and have different compositions of the active layer. And, lights of different wavelength are emitted from the active layer in parallel with the substrate.
