PURPOSE: A flat cathode ray tube for controlling sagging phenomenon is provided to reduce the rising spacing by forming a curvature with a radius less than 5000mm so as to control sagging phenomenon efficiently. CONSTITUTION: A flat cathode ray tube for controlling sagging phenomenon includes a flat glass panel(90), a fluorescent layer(92), and a shadow mask(95). The outer surface of the flat glass panel(90) has a round shape. The fluorescent layer(92) receives the light from the electron beam. The shadow mask(95) is implemented with a predetermined spacing from the fluorescent layer. A round shape with a radius from the center of the glass panel less than 5000mm is formed inside the glass panel. A skirt member(93) is connecting the curvature of the inner surface(90b) further formed on the outside of the glass panel(90).
