PURPOSE: An interlock device of shift lever for an automatic transmission is provided to modify the assembly structure of a safety stopper, and to improve the assembly efficiency, and to reduce a working noise of the interlock device CONSTITUTION: An interlock device of shift lever for an automatic transmission comprises; for an interlock device of shift lever to be provided with a safety stopper and an elastic device to prevent a shift lever from moving to a reverse or a park position when in driving; a clip (101) to be formed as one body in one side of a safety stopper (100), and to consist of a first clip part (102) and a second clip part (103), which are the opposite direction and have outer flanges(104,105).
