PURPOSE: A dynamic random access memory is provided to improve a data accessing time by achieving consecutively operating different blocks. CONSTITUTION: A DRAM is composed of an address space divided with blocks, each memory cell in a block is activated by RAS(Row Address Signal) generated from a controller, and each block is activated by an independent activating signal derived from the RAS signal, and a staring and end time of activating signal is depended a pulse of the RAS signal. At lest two different blocks is simultaneously activated so two different blocks is overlapped for partial time and then data rate is increased in comparison with activation of only one single block.
