PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a compact ink jet recorder having high reliability by setting a peak of a radiation intensity of a halogen lamp incorporated into a preprocessor to a longer wavelength than that of the intensity of a halogen lamp incorporated into a postprocessor. SOLUTION: A preprocessor 10 emits a white sheet not printed to heat to dry it. Here, as a halogen lamp 11, a halogen lamp having relatively high absorption rate of a white sheet and a radiating peak of 1,500 nm of a radiating intensity without problem in a practical use is adopted. Contrarily, a halogen lamp 21 incorporated into a postprocessor 20 having a relatively low absorption rate of a white sheet and a peak of 1,250 nm of a radiation intensity is adopted. That is, in the postprocessor, a printed and colored site absorbs stronger radiation than a non-printed site. Thus, a deformation of the printed sheet due to drying can be suppressed to a small value. |
