PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sterilizing and drying box which can uniformly sterilize and dry articles such as footgear, etc., stored in a box. SOLUTION: This sterilizing and drying box is equipped with plural storage chambers 2 each with a sterilizing lamp 11, a dehumidifying chamber 3 with a dehumidifier 12, and a circulation passage to circulate air dehumidified by the dehumidifier 12 between the storage chamber 12 and the dehumidifying chamber 3. The circulation passage is a passage circulating through the dehumidifying chamber 3, vent holes 22 and 24 of the storage chambers 2 upside, a vent box 21, vent holes 24 of the left end storage chamber 2 downside and returning the dehumidifying chamber 3. Objects such as footgear, etc., stored in the sterilizing and drying box are sterilized by irradiating ultraviolet light from the sterilizing lamp 11 and then dried by repeatedly circulating dehumidified air in the circulation passage in between the dehumidifying chamber 3 with a dehumidifier 12 and the storage chamber 2. |
