PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a sure fusion-bonding by a method wherein the vibrational direction of a fusion-bonding head is optimized so as to obtain a strong pinching force between an anvil and a horn against a work. SOLUTION: This device is equipped with a fusion-bonding head having an ultrasonic vibrator and a horn 6, which connects with the ultrasonic vibrator and which vibrates along its axis line direction as its vibrational direction, a portable operational type main body 1, in which the whole portions of the device except the tip portion of the horn are housed, a lever 3, which connectingly contacts with the main body and is pivotally operable to a direction, which intersects with the axis line of the fusion-bonding head and contacts with and separates from the tip side of the main body 1, and an anvil 4, which is arranged at the tip side of this lever so as to be abuttable against the horn 6. In addition, the horn 6 is given a contour, which can convert the ultrasonic vibrational load in its axis line directing to a direction along an abutting surface against the anvil 4. |
