<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a styrene-based resin sheet excellent in moldability in molding containers, and containers. SOLUTION: The styrene-based resin sheet contains a styrene-based resin (a) and a thermoplastic resin such as polyolefin-based resins and polyester-based resins (b) approximately in a weight ratio of 40/60 to 97/3. The styrene-based sheet is suitable for molding containers. The styrene-based resin (a) satisfies the relationships of the formulae (I) to (III), Formula (I):Δlnλn/Δε=(lnλn2-lnλn1)/(ε2-ε1)>=0.15 Formula (II):λn=λ/λ1 Formula (III):ε=ln(l/l0) (whereinλn is a nonlinear parameter;λis an elongation viscosity in the nonlinear region;λ1 is an elongation viscosity in the linear region;εis a Hencky's elongation strain; l0 and l are each the length of the sample at elongation time 0 and t, respectively) in an elongation viscosity measurement at 130 deg.C at an elongation rate in the range of 0.0025-0.0035 sec-1.</p> |
