PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling mechanism for a scroll compressor capable of cooling a stationary scroll, a movable scroll, a main shaft and its bearings in good performance. SOLUTION: A body 20 of compressor has a casing equipped with a scroll accommodating part 22 with its opening covered with a stationary scroll 30 and accommodating a movable scroll 40 and a main shaft accommodation part 24 to accommodate a main shaft 60 to revolve the movable scroll 40 and is covered with a cover 12 furnished with an inlet 13 for cooling wind and a cover 14 furnished with an outlet 15 for the wind so that a scroll compressor 10 is completed, wherein a fan 90 is fixed to the main shaft 60 in a fan chamber 27 formed with the cover 14, and a cooling mechanism is configured so that the wind introduced from the inlet 13 is fed to the fan chamber 27 via the scroll accommodation chamber 22 and released from the outlet 15.
