PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the magnetic flux density of magnetic space by constituting a permanent magnet from neodymium magnet or rare earth magnet, and arranging it on the circumferential part of a core pole. SOLUTION: A permanent magnet 12 consists of neodymium magnet or rare earth magnet, and it is circularly formed due to its magnetic characteristic and the miniaturization of the outer diameter dimension of a vibration type compressor, and magnetized in the thickness direction or radially. The permanent magnet 12 formed of neodymium magnet or rare earth magnet is fixed to the circumferential part of a core pole 7b. An electromagnetic coil 14 is arranged in the annular magnetic space 13 between the permanent magnet 12 and a yoke 7a. Accordingly, the working point of the permanent magnet 12 can be designed near BHmax, so that it is operable even if the alternate current carried to the electromagnetic coil 14 is small. Thus, a highly efficient compressor with more excellent performance can be provided.
