PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To construct all sorts of box culverts from small to large ones without limitations on transportation and the necessity of large cranes and to achieve ease of operations and reductions in cost and period of construction by constructing the box culverts while eliminating the need for assembling supports and forms inside concrete blocks when placing and packing concrete in the connections of a top board part. SOLUTION: A concrete floor board 1 is placed on the top end of a concrete block, after which reinforcing bars are bound together and concrete is placed at a top board part to integrally forming the concrete block with the top plate part. For construction of box culverts, a U-shaped concrete block, an L-shaped concrete block, and L-shaped and inverted-T-shaped concrete blocks are employed to enable construction of all sorts of box culverts from small to large ones. Further, projections are formed on the U-shaped and L-shaped concrete blocks and used in place of forms during placement of concrete at the top board part.
