PURPOSE: A treating machine for food waste and a method for controlling an automatic operation thereof are provided which automatically decide the need of pre-heat and then operate a pre-heat operation, automatically decide the finishing point of the pre-heat operation, simultaneously prevent a gearing rotation with a stirring wings of the food waste, efficiently dry the waste and reduce the volume of the waste, and further accurately set up the finishing time of drying and solidifying of the food waste. CONSTITUTION: A treating machine for food waste comprises: (i) a treating tank where the food waste is thrown into; (ii) a heating heater which is placed in the lower portion and the side portion of the treating tank, and heat the food waste; (iii) a stirring device which is installed on the treating tank and stirs the food waste; and (iv) a control device which detects the temperature of a seal sliding part such as a seal member or a bearing of the stirring device from the temperature of the lower portion detected from a temperature sensor and initiates a common driving mode by operating the stirring device when the temperature of the seal sliding part rises up to a certain point. The automatic operation of the treating machine for food waste initiates a common driving mode by: (i) detecting the temperature of the lower portion of the treating tank simultaneously with the operation of the treating machine for food waste; (ii) in case of the temperature of the lower portion of the treating tank being 0°C or lower, supplying electricity to the heating heater with stopping the stirring device; and (iii) detecting the temperature of the seal sliding part from the temperature of the lower portion and operating the stirring device when the temperature of the seal sliding part rises up to a certain point. |
