METHOD FOR FERMENTATIVE PRODUCTION OF D-PANTOTHENIC ACID USING ENTEROBACTERIACEAE STRAINS

PURPOSE: A method for fermentative production of D-pantothenic acid using Eterobacteriaceae strains is provided. A D-pantothenic acid is a commercially important vitamin used in cosmetics, medicines, human food and animal food. CONSTITUTION: A process for the preparation of D-pantothenic acid using Eterobacteriaceae strains comprises steps of: using strains comprising plasmid pFV31 and/or pFV202 coding panD; amplifying and especially over-revealing panD gene and optionally, another nucleotide sequence coding aspartate-1-decarboxylase in the strains comprising plasmid pFV31 and/or pFV202; accumulating D-pantothenic acid in a medium or the cell of the microorganisms by fermenting D-pantothenic acid-producing microorganisms of Eterobacteriaceae strains, especially Escherichia strains on the nutrient medium comprising glucose or sucrose only without beta-alanin and pactoic acid; separating the D-pantothenic acid.
