PURPOSE: A tool assembly is provided to prevent distortion of components of the assembly and clamping deflects while eliminating a substantial operation difference between a shank and an adaptor. CONSTITUTION: A tool assembly(31) comprises a mount member for mounting of a shank receiving member, the mount member having a rear surface and a shank having at least three clamping member receiving bores, the shank receiving member having at least three penetrating bores and front shank bores which access to the at least three clamping member receiving bores when the shank is inserted into the shank bore, the mount member being clamped to the shank receiving member by at least three clamping members, wherein the three clamping members penetrate at least three penetrating bores so as to be accommodated into and retained at the three clamping member receiving bores. |
