PURPOSE: A program or data remote variable apparatus is provided so that a central control station at a remote place can update systems such as an exchange or an unattended base station comprising a plurality of processor boards or function blocks having devices necessary for programs or data to be updated. CONSTITUTION: A program or data remote variable apparatus consists of a central control station(100), a update control module(110) and a target board or function block(120). The central control station(100), comprised of an update information providing part(102) and a modem part(104), provides update information to a device or a memory of a desired system. The update control module(110), composed of a modem(111), an update status control part(112), a main memory(113), a downloading part(114), a first-in first-out part(115) and an inter-processor communication channel interface part(116), receives update information outputted from the central control station(100) and controls update information to be downloaded to the target board or function block(120). The target board or function block(120), comprising an SCC(Sequential Control Counter) channel part(121), a main control part(122), a main memory(123), a flash memory(124), a programmable logic device(125) and buffers(126,127), downloads data transmitted from the update control module(110) to the flash memory(124) or the programmable logic device(125). |
