PURPOSE: A channel cross connection apparatus for an optical transmission apparatus is provided for effectively using a BLSR/2(Bidirectional Line-switched ring/2) type network by performing a time slot interchanging by crossingly connecting channel lines. CONSTITUTION: A channel cross connection apparatus includes an address decoder(519), re-timing units(511, 512, 513, 514, 517, 518), a first channel cross connection unit(515), a second channel cross connection unit(518), and a latch unit(520). the address decoder(519) decodes an address signal of a central processing unit(not shown) which controls an addition/deletion control unit(130) and outputs a chip selection signal capable of selecting the first channel cross connection unit(515) and the second channel cross connection unit(516). |
