PURPOSE: A wireless remote firing system of air bag for vehicle is provided to achieve an enhanced vehicle safety while eliminating operation failure of the air bag by allowing a radio signal transmission between air bag sensor and air bag module. CONSTITUTION: A wireless remote firing system comprises an air bag sensor(30)including a G-sensor(32) for sensing external impact and converting the sensed signal into an electric signal, a CPU(34) for judging the signal applied from the G-sensor and outputting a control signal, a modulator(36) for modulating the control signal output from the CPU into a radio signal, an antenna(38) for transmitting into the atmosphere the signal modulated by the modulator, an antenna(42) for receiving the set radio signal from the atmosphere, and a demodulator(40) for demodulating the radio signal received at the antenna(42); and an air bag module(50) including an antenna(52) for transmitting radio signal to the antenna(42) or receiving radio signal from the antenna(38), an IC(54) for modulating and demodulating the transmitted/received radio signal, a controller(56) for receiving a signal from the IC(54) or outputting control signals, a voltage increase unit(60) for increasing a battery power into a predetermined-sized voltage, a capacitance(C2) for charging the voltage applied from the unit(60) and discharging the same as a stable voltage, a relay(58) switched by the control signal from the unit(56) to connect the voltage discharge from capacitance(C2), an inflator(62) for exploding gas by the voltage signal applied via the relay(58), and an air bag(64) to be deployed by the gas explosion of the inflator(62). |
