METHOD FOR TRANSMITTING SHORT MESSAGE

PURPOSE: A method for transmitting a short message is provided to receive a message in an only corresponding subscriber by transmitting a corresponding short message through a traffic channel when transmitting the corresponding short message to a receiving subscriber. CONSTITUTION: If a mobile terminal receives a short message having a message importance from a transmitting subscriber(S1), the mobile terminal judges as to whether the receive message has a message importance request(S2). The mobile terminal transmits an origination message to a transmitting base station through an access channel for informing a request to a SMS and receives a traffic channel from the transmitting base station when the receive message has a message importance request(S3). The mobile terminal performs a certificate process and transmits a corresponding short message to the transmitting base station through the traffic channel when a normal certificate process is performed(S8,S9).
