摘要 PURPOSE: A receiving circuit using an adaptive antenna array of a DS-CDMA and a base station system is provided to minimize the error ratio of receiving signals by eliminating noise signals from an undesired direction and extracting signals from a desired direction using an adaptive antenna array. CONSTITUTION: A DS-CDMA terminal receiving circuit using an adaptive antenna array comprises high frequency receivers(AS1-ASm), analog-digital converters(AD1-ADm), a digital beam former(DBF) and a demodulator(DEM). Each high frequency receiver is composed of an antenna(Ai), a low noise amplifier(LNAi) and a down converter & intermediate frequency filter(DCi). Each analog-digital converter, receiving an analog baseband signal, provides a data signal queue sampled at a sampling period. The digital beam former(DBF) receives a target signal composed of data signals(Xn.0-Xn.m-1) and a pseudo-noise sequence and extracts the data signal of a desired direction by a least mean square algorithm. The demodulator(DEM) demodulates the data signal extracted from the digital beam former(DBF) and outputs a target signal synchronized with the data signal.
