PURPOSE: An air bag is provided in which has a deviator for deviating partly gas flow discharging from an air bag mouse laterally and does not induce gas flow into a passenger direction and cause a direction of a detour or deviation of a gas flow toward an inlet direction of a gas species flowing into a air bag mouse into an expansion direction expansion laterally. CONSTITUTION: In an air bag having an air bag mouse connected to a gas generator, an air bag comprises a deviator(18,38) deviating gas flow partly into a lateral direction. The deviator has plural opening(46) of a side outlet, at least one opening of a front outlet and has a smaller area than the opening of a side outlet. Also the deviator(18) has plural opening of a side outlet but has no opening of a front outlet. Hole for heat-shutting off provided on some region of an air bag(16,36) or inner of an air bag(10,30) forms a part of the deviator(18,38). The hole for heat-shutting off is consisted of a cloth part. In order to form the deviator(18,38), the air bag is characterized in being connected to an another cloth part(20,42,40), forming an opening(26,46,48) of a outlet.
