PURPOSE: A flush toilet is provided to more faciliate the transfer of the clean water and sewage and lower the pressure of the flush toilet by shortening the turning distance of the clean water. CONSTITUTION: A water flush which employs a construction wherein a filth-receiving surface (10) of a bowl portion (1) and an inside wall surface (15) of a rim portion formed along the peripheral edge of an upper opening (13) of the bowl portion (1) are arranged to synthesize each other so as to shape a curved surface, and the inside wall surface (15) of the rim portion is used as a conduit (16) of flush water to the bowl portion. The bowl portion conduit (16) has an overhung shape in such a fashion as to cover the entire periphery, or a part of the periphery, of the inside wall surface (15) of the rim portion toward the inside portion of the bowl portion (1). The flush toilet is easy to clean and is hygienic.
