APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR REMOVING PACKET ERROR IN HDLC ROUTER

PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for removing a packet error in an HDLC(High level Data Link Control) router are provided to reduce loads by an error taken to the system by removing an error in a time point to route a packet generating the error. CONSTITUTION: A serial-parallel conversion part(100) converts a serial data transmitted from the base station into a parallel data. A counter part(300) counts the packet of the parallel data transmitted from the serial-parallel conversion part(100), compares the packet of the parallel data with the number of a preset packet and transmits a corresponding control signal. A packet input part(400) sets up the number of the packet of the counter part(300). An end flag input part(500) inputs an end flag to an input flag when the number of the input packet is more than the preset packet. A first-in first-out part(600), receiving the control signal transmitted from the counter part(300), stores a flag that an error has been generated in a packet. A transmission control part(700) receives the error flag transmitted from the first-in first-out part(700) to confirm the error packet and outputs a corresponding packet transmission control signal. A first-in first-out part(900) outputs a first-in first-out control signal to control to read and write the packet parallel data transmitted from the serial-parallel conversion part(100).
