TEMPERATURE DETECTING CIRCUIT

PURPOSE: A temperature detecting circuit is provided to reduce the layout area with the small power consumption by using a simplified current mirror unit and a current mode amplifier. CONSTITUTION: A reference voltage generating circuit(201) generates a reference voltage proportional to temperatures and generates a first current of a magnitude reversely proportional to the change of the reference voltage and a second current of a magnitude proportional to the change of the reference voltage. A current mirror circuit(202) is driven by the first and second currents and generates a single output current having a complementary sign according to the difference of the first and second currents. A current mode amplifier(203) generates the outputs of first and second logic levels.
