<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pigment-dispersing ink for ink-jet recording combinedly having both properties of high optical stability and storage stability, an ink for preventing color mixing of the pigment ink and a liquid set. SOLUTION: This ink for ink-jet recording contains a pigment, an aqueous polymer, a water-soluble organic solvent and water as essential components. A number-average particle diameter contained in the ink after jetting operation of an ink jet printer is made to 10-150 nm and a number of particles having >=0.5μm particle diameter is made to 6×104-6×105 pieces/μL, and a number of particles having >=5μm particle diameter is made to <=50 pieces/μL. The ink for ink-jet recording and a second liquid containing water-soluble organic solvent having 9-11 solubility parameter and/or a surfactant and water are used as a set.</p> |
