PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the convenience of housing and carrying a cleaner and operability at the time of using the cleaner by providing a handle freely attachable and detachable to/from a cleaner main body and a hose between a hose joint part and the hose connection part of the cleaner main body. SOLUTION: This vacuum cleaner is composed of the cleaner main body 201, a flexible hose provided with the hose joint part 210 engaged with the hose connection part 206 of the cleaner main body on one end and provided with a hose hand part 211 provided with a hand control part 212 on the other end, the extension pipe 213 connected to the hose hand part and a suction port 214 connected to the extension pipe. The hose joint part is provided with a locking part engaged with the hose connection part and a locking knob for operating the locking part to be retracted and the hose joint part is freely attachably and detachably fitted to the hose connection part. In this case, between the hose joint part and the hose connection part of the cleaner main body, the handle 220 freely attachable and detachable to/from the cleaner main body and the hose is provided.
