PURPOSE: A method of printing markings onto rubber articles, in particular tire is provided to effectively print markings on rubber articles, so that markings is not easily eliminated and a cost is reduced. CONSTITUTION: A method of printing markings onto rubber articles, in particular tire contains the following characteristics: a rubber article comprises a particular mixture composition in the marking region, no wax or protective additives being present; a print color is a solvent-containing two-component color and comprises a binder which is adapted to a rubber mixture of the marking region; a marking is printed onto the rubber article by means of a tampon-printing process.
