PURPOSE: An apparatus is provided to transport a standardized container having a size sufficient to allow a road transportation by improving characteristics of a tower crane in terms of construction load and maximum range. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for supporting and orienting an upper portion of a mast(2) of a tower crane and a rotating upper portion of a crane containing a jib, comprises joint plates(18) at four corners of a pivot(1) having a rectangular horizontal section, the joint plate having a size permitting the transportation of the pivot, and other joint plates(19) at four corners of upper portion of the mast. The joint plates have aligned holes, and removable pins are fixed therethrough. |
