FLOW-DOWN NOZZLE INSPECTION APPARATUS IN GLASS MELTING FURNACE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inspect whether a glass melting furnace installed in a nuclear fuel reprocessing facility is usable or not even after the lapse of its design life so as to extend its service life. SOLUTION: The system involved in the present invention is such one as to equipped with the subject flow-down nozzle inspection apparatus 1 and a carrying truck 56 loaded with the apparatus 1 and ensured to travel to a point under a glass melting furnace 51; wherein the inspection apparatus 1 has a turntable 25 set up on a vertically movable lift platform 4 so as to be horizontally turntable and an inspection means 27 mounted on the turntable 25 and ensuring a flow-down nozzle 52 provided on the lower end of the glass melting furnace 51 to be inspected externally.
